Hi, I’m Petra, and I run One For The Books, a bookkeeping and office organisation service based in Kardinya, south of the river.

I bring a warm, personal approach to my work while always maintaining the highest professional standards, helping my clients feel supported, organised and confident in their finances.

Originally from Germany, I hold a Diploma in German Administration and have over 30 years of office administration experience. I have been a professional bookkeeper since 2010 and a registered BAS Agent since 2013, and I also hold a Cert IV in Finance (Bookkeeping and Accounting).

I moved to Australia in 1997, first living in Alice Springs where my partner and I ran the Wendy’s franchises in the Northern Territory, before settling in Perth in 2004, which has been home ever since.

I specialise in working with sole traders and small companies, as well as franchises, Incorporated Associations and Clubs. My goal is to provide accurate, compliant and stress-free bookkeeping so you can focus on running and growing your business. I work with Xero (Advisor Certified) and MYOB AccountRight and tailor my services to suit the unique needs of each client.

Although I’m Perth-based, I work mainly remotely from home, with regular communication through meetings, phone calls and emails.

I’m known for being approachable, reliable, detail-focused and proactive, and I genuinely love organising, systems and paperwork. Sorting out financial chaos and creating clear, smooth processes is what excites me.
